Beautiful picture, it’s a picture of opposites, the contrast between the light and dark, hard and soft, the textures, even the idea of the unknown depth to the water against the transparent size of the rocks.

I love these type of photographs, they are suggestive of something but also show the ambiguity. The picture is misleading, is the rock pool small or large, guess it really depends on your perspective, like most things in life.

Congratulations on winning the O music award for VyRt, I know I say this all the time, but again deservedly so, especially when the recognition is given on such a young concept, six months old and already making such a impact. Not surprising really for anyone who has watched them, they are an amazing experience … can’t wait till the next one.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not some sort of weird physic feeling, it’s like there is something there, like a gut reaction, like some sort of empathy, don’t know how to describe it properly, you would need to feel it to know what I’m talking about.   Bit disappointed but appreciated it for what it was. I love Alien and I love Ridley Scott, so I think my expectations were set too high. The storyline was too far fetched … somehow believing Aliens in Outer space seem more realistic, but some of it was very good if you looked past what was wrong with it.
  
  I watched Alien again after watching Prometheus and all the little quirks and subtleties were there that I didn’t notice and had forgotten about, which in turn makes me want to see it again. What kind of Movies do you like ?

    People don’t fit into nice little packages. Gender specifics is judgmental if you ask me especially after stating you have such eclectic tastes.Then to start placing people into a box. My tastes vary and I try to keep an open mind and try not to place people into categories. Also when your writing as opposed to speaking emotion becomes lost at times, sarcasm is missed, and this is how things become misinterpreted.       sometimes, I think you have no idea who I am at all, you would state something that is so far removed from what I am actually like, but I guess that just goes to prove what you are saying about how we perceive something as we what to see it. Now who is being judgemental ?

      Just because we shouldn’t put people in boxes doesn’t mean we don’t, and we ALL do it. It doesn’t really matter how liberal and open minded we want to be, gender specifics are still very much a way of life. Stereotypes do still exist, maybe not as pronounced as they once were, but they still play an important role in today’s society. I don’t necessarily believe in them, and I certainly don’t follow them, in my own life or how I view others.
      
      But seeing as you are able to make such a sweeping generalization about me, just because I happened to make a simple observation,( which by the way, you agreed with.) Most Movies, music and art, along with countless other factors in life can be non gender specific, but there is always an exception to the rule. For example the majority of women would not necessarily want to watch a movie about War or an extremely violent film, just as most men would not go out of their way to watch a rom com hence the phrase chick flick. Again in the music world, some groups, singers, bands etc seem to only attract one sex, often through no fault of their own. Advertising and marketing also zoom in on the idea that gender roles still exist and play them off one another beautifully, not to even mention the brainwashing that the Media enforces upon us at every given opportunity, simply put, we DO live in a stereotypical world, like it or not … there is no escape.
      
      I’m not saying that they always are, but certain generalizations in life have to be made, it is the way we are able to process so much information in such a short time to maximise a particular way of thinking/acting … regardless whether it’s an innate characteristic we are trying to suppress or not.
