Helsinki, St Petersburg, and our old friend Berlin
Helsinki was great to visit again. Beautiful but so cold there that we stayed hunkered down in the hotel for most of the day off. Ate some good Finnish food at this placed called Juuri and thawed out our toes. Show was everything we hoped for. Great crowd. Tons o’ fun. A quick kip and off to Ruuuuuuussia.
St Petersburg was one of the biggest shows of the tour at the SKK Arena. Over 10,000 crazy Russians came to the show and it was huge.
City is so gorgeous it’s like looking at a photography book. Incredible. We ate dinner in a restaurant on a giant ship anchored in the frozen snow-covered river. Weird and warm. It was completely empty but had a nice fireplace and great, great food.
Thanks for all the gifts btw. We got Russian naval outfits, an oil painting, drawings, photo books, sketches, food, food + food. Very kind. We carefully packed them up to take them home.
Berlin is always a favorite to go back to and really feels like a home away from home. The first thing I did was eat at my fav noodle shop in the world Monsieur Vuong’s. They have the best food in all of Berlin. (I actually ate there 3 times in the 2 day trip). I stayed up late one night to speak to my buddy Stryker about the LA show at the Greek on May 15th (great to have him back!). Can’t wait for the Greek and Santa Barbara Bowl!! Seen so many great shows at both venues…Radiohead, Tool, Sigur Ros, etc etc. Fun times comin’!!!
Had a day off finally in Berlin, was able to hang out with some old friends and I even made it out to White Trash for a minute.
Off to Prague now!

It really wasn't THAT cold in Finlad (12-13 March), honestly. Had you been to here approx. a month earlier, I would have agreed (-20 Celsius degrees plus heavy icy breeze with snow blizzard).
Never too cold, never too wet, (can't say never too hot, doesn't apply to Finland that often) as long as you've got the right gear on. There are plenty of great inventions to keep warm, like long johns (also known sex killers)
And just to make it straight for anyone interested; no polar bears in Finland, Finnish people though during the winter time could resemble them slightly (approach with care, can be grumpy!).

Oh, my Dear Guys, it was so GREAT, PERFECTLY WELL, AMAZINGLY, IS MORE TREMENDOUS!!!!! I think this is the brightest and surprising event in my life! My explosion of emotions can be compared only if an atomic warfare! Goddam, it is steeper than sex on the top of Everest!!! Although, at times it was not safe for life, but it was worth it! 18000 people in SKK were united by one thing, by you! You have joined us, the echelon! it's just crazy! And it was really FUCKING CRAZY SHOW !!!!! My condition before, during and after the concert I called euphoria! It`s like a drug! No!!! It's better than a drug, a thousand times better!!! It was something transcendental, boundless and it is wonderful! I think that no one of foreign artist or group did not cause such agiotage! And the whole Russia with a big impatience looking forward to your return again! And I think it will be in milllion times better, although certainly it is unpossible)) , because it was the best concert!

Thank you so much for the best show of my life you performed in Prague! I can't wait to see you again during some festivals in summer! I was ther with you on stage as you were playing Kings & Queens and I will never forget that moment. Another unforgettable moment was during playing "The Fantasy" when the whole crowd including you kept their hands in the air pointing up with erected point fingers and the rest of our hands was in fist. That was so great!
When are you coing back to Prague? I hope soon. Your show was AMAZING and breathtaking just as all of you are.

I´m really looking forward to finally see your concert, but i have no idea, when it´s going to happen, and that´s bad:( I saw some information, that you and your band will be perform in Finland 18th of June, is this true? the gig in Helsinki was one of the greatest days of my short life. I jumped, screamed (I had throat infection two weeks after that, lol. My ankles too fcking hurted but I don't mind, it was all worth it
) and shouted my lungs out that night, the 3rd row was awesome<3.
everyone, who had been on your '08 gig in Helsinki says you were a little bit odd now '10, but I think you were groundbreaking and great. I will see you again in Provinssirock, I'll hope you'll make it 'cause I miss that night so fcking much that you can't even imagine.
