After a few fun days in NYC working, seeing old friends, and getting a little haircut, courtesy of my buddy Terry Richardson…
…we headed to London!
I’m writing from the train to snowy Nottingham (insert clever Robin Hood reference) in the UK for the very first show of INTO THE WILD and although we’re a bit jetlagged and bit more exhausted, we couldn’t be more excited about our first arena tour. Never in a million years did we imagine this. Very very grateful.
We spent the last two days doing final rehearsals and are still plotting and planning. Def a lot of last min things to finish up (in typical Mars style). No warm up show here….the first show is sold out and will be packed with 8000 people! Fun.
Headed into soundcheck now…wish us luck!

That show in London was amazing by the way…I was there singing my heart out and loving every single minute. You made it feel as if you and everyone else in Wembley were the only people alive in the entire world. Finially got a chance to see you play after loving your music for all these years. Thankyou for a spectacular set Jared <3 Looking forward to seeing you, Shannon and Tomo back here for Download.
And yes, it's always very interesting to read what goes through that now spikey hawk head of yours :') (I hope you grow it out, not that I don't like it, it makes quite the impact, plus I could spot you on stage a mile off…)

omg i went to this Nottingham show it was the first time i saw you live the best night of my life and it forever will be for the best night of my life and the show was absolutely incredible even though after the show we went to the car park where are car was parked we couldn't get in the car because the doors had frozen shut so standing there for about half an hour in cold Nottingham but it was ok as i did purchase a mars scarf and it was awesomely warm and looking through the tour booklet while my mom and brother were standing there bored stiff but still going on about the awesome show

And to think I attended that Nottingham show :O It seems like it didn't happen now, so surreal. But, it was the best night of my life<3 I would love you see you guys live again, I wonder if I'll be able to… Praying for Reading tickets… but i'm not so sure it'll happen.
